Shredders (knife crushers) are designed to solve industrial problems: crushing fragile, fibrous, polymeric and vegetable materials, wood, crushing gypsum, limestone, crushing plastic, crushing materials of plant origin, processing waste polyethylene, PVC, nylon, rubber, etc.
In knife crushers, crushing occurs due to cutting - shear deformation of material particles between the rotor and body knives.
The size of the crushed product is regulated by the speed of the rotor with fixed knives, the distance between the knives, the size of the discharge grid holes and the physical properties of the material.
