A screen is a device or machine for separating (sorting) bulk materials by particle size (pieces) on screening surfaces with calibrated openings to obtain products of different particle size distribution. The screen is used in the mining industry to screen coal, ores, crushed stone and other bulk materials and dewater them. The screen is the main type of technological equipment in crushing and screening plants and crushing and screening facilities, ore preparation and concentration complexes.
